tig Bareksten (b.1972) is a man of nature. From running around in the woods of suburban Loddefjord outside Bergen where he grew up, via picking up the traditions of his ancestors during endless summers on the family farm in Førde, to settling in a cabin with a bursting garden outside Oslo – it has always been there. Right on his doorstep, for him to pick and gather. To respect and understand. To experiment and distil. And then, to turn this piece of singular nature into globally renowned and award-winning botanical gin, aquavit, rum, vodka and whiskey.
